NFL Pro Era Teases ‘More Than Just A Roster Update’ For This Year’s Release

StatusPRO is teasing its “next evolution” for NFL Pro Era, promising this year’s release will include more than just a roster update.

First released last September, NFL Pro Era became VR’s first official NFL game, following other VR football games like 2MD: VR Football Unleashed and MVP Football: The Patrick Mahomes Experience. We didn’t get a direct look at the 2023 entry during the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, but StatusPRO President and former NFL wide receiver Andrew “Hawk” Hawkins made an appearance to tease what’s coming.

Promising “more than just a roster update” for this annual sports series, Hawkins states this year’s NFL Pro Era game will include an expanded focus on multiplayer, though in what capacity remains to be seen. Additional modes and new features are also planned for the 2023 edition.

The next NFL Pro Era game arrives this year on the Meta Quest platform, while the existing release from last year is available now on Quest 2, PSVR, PSVR 2 and PC VR via Steam.
