Quest 2 Accessory Makes Golfing In VR Even More Fun

Get the most out of your Quest 2 with this useful accessory.

The Meta Quest 2’s Touch controllers are fantastic, but they aren’t without their limits. This is where VR accessories such as Yezro’s VR Golf Club Handle come in handy.

This nifty little device can attach easily to your Touch controller to provide a more realistic golfing experience while in VR. All you have to do is thread your controller strap (you do use your controller strap, don’t you?) through the opening at the base of the device and tighten the silicone grip around the handle of your controller.

The device is 16.3 inches (415 mm) long and only weighs roughly .41 pounds making it easy to use, whether you’re performing a light putt or a heavy drive. As if that weren’t cool enough, the device features a regulation golf grip, allowing you to play comfortably for longer periods of time.

What I like most, however, is the aluminum shaft, which is capable of transmitting haptics seamlessly from the Touch controller. Even the lightest of putts can be felt through the grip on the handle. This was an unexpected but welcomed revelation.

The device currently supports VR apps such as GOLF+ and Walkabout Mini Golf. Each of the aforementioned games features its own basic setup process.

For GOLF+, all you have to do is line up the handle with the in-game putter using the custom adjustment setting. For Walkabout Mini Golf, simply set your putter angle to around 480 degrees.

Yezro’s VR Golf Club Handle is available now for $65.99 here.
