Mobile games can be played without a controller, directly from your phone screen. At times though, a controller can come in handy, allowing you to game comfortably. Not all games support controllers though, but that’s where we come in.
Here, we are going to take a look at some of the best mobile games with controller support. It’s important to know that many of these games can be played on console or PC as well. Overall, mobile ports of games have controller support, as the game was originally played with a controller. You can connect Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch controllers to your phone via Bluetooth, as well as other generic controllers.

9/10 Diablo Immortal
Diablo Immortal is a new game in the Diablo series, available on iOS and Android. This game has all the signature trademarks of a Diablo game, allowing you to mow through waves of enemies.
Since Diablo Immortal started as a mobile game, it has simple optimized touch controllers, however, you can use a controller when playing on mobile if you aren’t a fan of touch-screen Diablo. Within the settings menu, you can find the button mapping options for the controller, allowing you to customize your controller experience.
8/10 Genshin Impact
Next up, we have Genshin Impact. This is another game that is available across a variety of platforms. Rather than using touch controls to explore Teyvat, you can connect a controller.

7/10 Final Fantasy 7: The First Solider
Final Fantasy 7: The First Soldier is a battle royale game, based around the world of Final Fantasy 7. Playing a fast-paced battle royale game with touch controllers may be a bit difficult, but thankfully, both the iOS and Android versions of this game have controller support.
This game supports any controller that you have, allowing you to aim and navigate more accurately. Prior to playing Final Fantasy 7: The First Soldier with a controller, it’s important to note that the controls are a bit different. We recommend taking some time to get familiar with the controls before jumping in.
6/10 Rocket League Sideswipe
Rocket League Sideswipe is a mobile version of the classic Rocket League game. Rather than placing you directly on the field, this mobile game is 2.5D, giving you the view from one side of the field.
Although it’s simpler than the normal Rocket League, using a controller will help your movement become a bit more precise. Many believe that using a controller gives you an advantage, but that’s up for you to decide.
5/10 Call Of Duty: Mobile
We all know Call of Duty. This wildly popular first-person shooter relies on careful movement and shooting. Call of Duty: Mobile takes this classic shooter and puts it directly at your fingertips.
Call of Duty: Mobile only works with official PlayStation and Xbox Controllers.
Fortunately, Call of Duty: Mobile has full controller support, so you don’t have to use touch controls. If you are a Call of Duty veteran, then using a controller with your phone will feel natural. Controllers work during gameplay, but you will need to touch the screen for menu navigation.
4/10 Townscaper
Townscaper is a relaxing building game, giving you the freedom to make the town of your dreams. There are no goals, allowing you to use your own creativity to do pretty much anything you want.

3/10 Dead Cells
Dead Cells is a rogue-lite platformer game that is available on pretty much every platform. This game requires some precise movement, especially with its rogue-lite gameplay. Instead of using your fingers to perform these actions, you can use a controller.
With a controller paired, you can move and attack more accurately, making your way through procedurally generated biomes filled with enemies.
2/10 Space Marshals 3
Space Marshals 3 is an isometric game, putting you in the shoes of a Space Marshal. As an action game, you will need to take down enemies, but while doing so, you have the option to focus on stealth.
The touch controls for Space Marshal are good, but with a controller, you can become the ultimate space cowboy, capable of quick and accurate shooting.
1/10 Fantasian
Lastly, we have Fantasian. This is a JRPG that is currently only available on iOS devices, such as Macs and iPhones. If you are a fan of the Final Fantasy series, this game may interest you, as it was written by Hironobu Sakaguchi, who created Final Fantasy.
As an Apple Arcade game, Fantasian does not have any ads or microtransactions. When using a controller, you can become fully immersed in the game, and maybe even forget that you are playing a mobile game.
