Valve is shipping SteamVR 2.0 to all users today.
The update was previously available in beta from last month, but the full release ships today featuring a new UI and other new features.
Valve says SteamVR 2.0 is the company’s “first big step in a larger ongoing effort to better unify the Steam ecosystem for all users, providing a more consistent experience across devices.” The update brings SteamVR in line with the Steam and Steam Deck experience, bringing “most of the current features” from the latter two across to the former.
Other new features include and updated keyboard, integration of Steam chat and voice chat, updated store that highlights VR releases and improvements to Steam notification accessibility.
